Christi Murn
              President


 

Christi has a background in business and has been with Murn & Associates for 20 years, now in the role as President. Her expertise is in fundraising campaign planning, management, and coaching for staff and volunteers. A dynamic speaker, she is recruited for conferences and workshops on a variety of topics. She facilitates strategic planning for nonprofit organizations, from local grassroots to those national in scope. In addition, Ms. Murn is certified in Nonprofit Organizational Assessments and Board Governance from the Nonprofit Management Fund. She has a passion and commitment to education and social justice, and welcomes the opportunity to drive revenue that can transform organizations. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Currently, Christi sits on The Morgan Family Trust Board of Directors, a national family foundation, and is a volunteer board director on the Friends of the Haggerty Museum of Art, Marquette University.

Sylvia has over 30 years of experience fundraising in the nonprofit sector.

Prior to founding the company in 1984, she served as Director of Institutional Advancement for Alverno College, Development Director for WHA Radio and Television, Director of Development for the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee (UWM), and Executive Director for the UWM Foundation.

As an active member of NSFRE (now AFP) since 1974, she has served on their Board of Directors and as President of the Wisconsin chapter.

In 1987, she was awarded the NSFRE Scott Cutlip Award for Wisconsin Fund Raiser of the year.

She is a graduate of Alverno College and is also an active volunteer with educational and community organizations in the Milwaukee area.

 

James' background includes over 30 years of progressive experience in institutional development, fund raising, prospect research and cultivation, community service and public relations.

Prior to joining Murn & Associates, he was Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Chicago State University.

He is a graduate of Ohio State University, and holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan.

 

Sue Boyle has a background in communications and marketing. Her background includes working in the for profit world. She has graciously helped Murn & Associates with communications and graphic arts for more than ten years. She is a graduate from University of Wisconsin Stout.

She also is an active volunteer for the community helping a variety of causes, especially education.

 

Angela has supported a variety of marketing and fundraising projects. Her education includes a degree from Beloit College and a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Her art background/formally in dance and music enhance her work. Angela is an expert in organizational and project management. She is a dynamic team leader  in project execution, and attention to detail. Her diverse background allows her ease into a variety of socioeconomic millieus, with sensitivity and engagement to vision and goals that promote a cohesive society with shared resources to maximize impact.
